Zentools ("we", "our", or "us") operates the AI PDF Translator (AI PDF翻译器) mobile application available on Google Play and Apple App Store, and the PDF translation web service available at pdf.zentools.me. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information: Email address and password (hashed) when you register. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from those providers.
  • PDF files: Files you upload for translation are stored temporarily and deleted after processing. We do not read, analyze, or retain the content of your documents beyond what is necessary for translation.
  • Payment information: We do not store credit card numbers. Payments are processed by Apple App Store, Google Play, LemonSqueezy, WeChat Pay, or Alipay. We only receive transaction confirmation and order status.
  • Usage data: Translation history (file name, target language, engine used, status) to display your history in the app.
  • Push notification token: Device token used to send translation completion notifications. Stored only while you are logged in.
  • Device information: Platform (iOS/Android/Web) for technical support purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve the PDF translation service.
  • To manage your subscription, credits, and billing.
  • To send push notifications when your translation is complete.
  • To send email verification and account-related emails.
  • To enforce usage limits and prevent abuse.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services which may process your data:

  • Google OAuth / Google Sign-In: For authentication. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Apple Sign In: For authentication on iOS. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
  • RevenueCat: Manages in-app purchases and subscriptions on iOS and Android.
  • LemonSqueezy: Processes international payments for web users.
  • WeChat Pay / Alipay: Processes payments for users in China.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): Delivers push notifications on Android.
  • AI translation engines: Your PDF content is sent to the translation engine you select (Google Translate, OpenAI, Gemini, DeepSeek, Doubao). Please refer to each provider's privacy policy.

4. Data Retention

  • Uploaded PDF files are deleted from our servers within 24 hours after translation.
  • Translated output files are stored for 7 days and then deleted.
  • Account data is retained until you delete your account.
  • Translation history records (metadata only, not file content) are retained for 90 days.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, and encrypted storage for sensitive configuration data. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

6. Your Rights

  • You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
  • You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • You may opt out of push notifications at any time through your device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date.

9. Account Deletion

To request deletion of your account and all associated data, please email us at skywu128@163.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request", and include the email address linked to your account.

  • We will process your request within 7 business days.
  • Upon deletion, we will permanently remove your account information, translation history, and any stored files.
  • Subscription and payment records may be retained as required by applicable law.

  • 翻译输出文件保存 7 天后删除。
  • 账户数据保留至您主动删除账户。
  • 翻译历史记录（仅元数据，无文件内容）保留 90 天。

5. 您的权利

  • 您可随时联系我们请求删除账户及相关数据。
  • 您可请求获取我们持有的您的个人数据副本。
  • 您可随时通过设备设置关闭推送通知。

6. 账号删除

如需删除账号及所有相关数据，请发送邮件至 skywu128@163.com，邮件主题请注明 "账号删除申请"，并说明您的注册邮箱。

  • 我们将在 7个工作日 内处理您的请求。
  • 删除后，我们将永久移除您的账户信息、翻译历史记录及所有存储文件。
  • 根据适用法律要求，订阅和支付记录可能会被保留一定期限。
